　　Recently, the news reported that a school invited masters and doctors to join the activity, which aimed at helping them to find the right ones. They are special groups that have high education background and most of them are single. Actually, finding the right one is a tough task, because we are looking for the soul mate.

　　Thinking about the rest of life to live with our future partner, how can’t we be picky about it? In the old generation, the couples just have the blind date which is planned by their parents and then they got married naturally, without much consideration. Even though they became a family, they lack of communication.

　　我們小學三年級的時候就開始學英語了，不知為什么，我對英語很不感興趣，這次期末考試更是考了個一團槽，幸虧媽媽把我對英語的.興趣及時培養(yǎng)了起來。

　　放暑假時，媽媽自告奮勇地當起了我的英語老師。她給我買了一臺學習機和學英語的光碟，我們每天都抽出大約一小時的時間來學習英語。媽媽告訴我，學習英語交不難，只要掌握了方法，就會覺得很有趣。通過學習，我覺得媽媽說的很有道理，比如卷筆刀這個單詞，英語是sharpener，共有9個字母組成，死記硬背是肯定不行的，即使背掉了過幾天也會忘掉，如果你知道哪個字母或哪幾個字母發(fā)什么音，就一定不會忘掉了。掌握了方法，一個單詞幾秒種就能背掉。有一天晚上，我一口氣背了6個單詞呢！就在那天晚上，我第一次覺得學習英語并不是一件很難的事情，我也暗暗下定決心一定要把英語學好。

　　現(xiàn)在我才明白，學習英語其實也是件很快樂的事情。

　　Some people tend tostick to their positions all the time，as they think the longer one works in a particular field，the more skillful one will be at it.Some have been teachers all their lives.Some devote all their energy to scientific research.Such people love their work and turn out to be specialists in their own fields.They are usually high achievers.

　　Some are different.They are in the habit of job-hopping，for they always purpose what is new and stimulating.They never seem content with their present situations.They like to meetmore people，make more money and new acquaintances，so they hop from job to job.

　　As far as I am concerned，I am not in favour of constant job-hopping.I believe in a famous proverb，A rolling stone gather no moss.I want to be professionally strong.And I respect those who devote themselves to their affectionate jobs throughout their life.

　　我對學英語一直興趣不大，爸爸便和媽媽商量，想讓我去英語興趣班學習。

　　有一天，爸爸收到一份廣告，上面說人才中心要舉辦艾斯通英語培訓班，由老外任教。3月13日，老外在人才中心上公開課，那天上午，爸爸征求了我的意見后，帶著我去聽公開課。

　　上課了，進來了兩個女老師。爸爸告訴我，那個金發(fā)碧眼個子很高的便是老外，旁邊那個是中國老師，她是老外的助教，在課堂教學中幫助老外和我們溝通。老外不會說中文，她首先用英語作了自我介紹，接著教我們每個人都用英語說“mynameis……”。那天老外上課的主要內容是人的五官和身體的主要部位，她將這些單詞用圖形掛在黑板上，并要求我們每個人走到講臺上和她一起邊做動作邊讀。開始，我有些讀音發(fā)不準，但老外一點都不煩，她耐心地教我很多遍，直到我讀準確為止。當同學們讀會這些單詞后，老外把我們全都叫到講臺上，圍成一個圈，由她指著自己身體的部位讀，如果對了，我們也用手指著自己身體同樣的部位跟著讀；如果錯了，看我們誰反應快，糾正老外的'“錯誤”。這個游戲很好玩，同學們都踴躍參與，課堂氣氛很濃。游戲結束后，老外還興致勃勃地教我們學唱英文歌……

　　老外教英語，真是有趣，她的公開課讓我對英語好象有了點興趣。老外的名字叫瑪麗婭，一個澳大利亞人，跟她學英語我很快樂。

　　The past years have witnessed a mounting number of Chinese scholars returning from overseas. As is lively illustrated by the column chart, the number of returnees climbed from a mere 69.3 thousand in 20xx to over 272.9 thousand in 20xx, at an annual increase rate of around 50%.

　　A multitude of factors may have led to the tendency revealed by the chart, but the following are the critical ones from my perspective. First and foremost, along with the development of Chinese economy and society, the number of Chinese studying abroad has been soaring in the past years, which has provided an expanding base for the number of returnees. In the second place, the government has enacted a series of preferential policies to attract overseas Chinese scholars back home. Last but not least, the booming economy, science and technology in this country have generated more attative job opportunites for scholars returning from overseas.

　　The waves of returnees will definitely contribute to this nations development, since they have brought back not only advanced science and technology but also pioneering concepts of education and management. With more scholars coming back from overseas, and with the concerted efforts of the whole nation, we have reasons to expect a faster rejuvenation of this country.
