　　題目：

　　You are arranging a dinner party. Write a letter to your friend to invitehim or her to the party. Say why you are holding it and give the necessary details.

　　范文：

　　Dear Bob,

　　How are you? I havent seen you for a while. Hope all is well. Anyway, Im writing because Im inviting some friends over for dinner and I thought you might also like to join us.

　　親愛的鮑勃：

　　你好嗎?好久沒有見到你了，希望你一切都好。我給你寫信的原因是我要邀請一些朋友前來吃晚飯，所以想到你也許愿意一起來湊個熱鬧。

　　The dinner will be at my place, next Wednesday at 7 oclock. Mary is doing the cooking, which Im sure youll be pleased to learn. Ill be taking care of the bar.

　　晚飯就在我這里吃，時間是下周三晚上7點。瑪麗當廚，相信你會很高興知道這一點的。我掌酒。

　　Ive enclosed a map of how to get to our new apartment. Its a little out of the way, Im afraid, but weve got a spare room and youre welcome to stay for the night if you wish. In fact, theres an exhibitionon at the museum, so we can go and take a look on Thursday. One request, though: bring your majiang with you so that we can play after dinner.
