　　Why do the young enjoy western festivals so much? Since they worship everything new, and they can’t resist the temptation. In their opinions, western festivals symbolize the fashion, while our Chinese traditional festivals are out of date. No wonder we always feel so boring during our traditional holidays. If we still turn a blind eye to our traditional festivals, our culture and civilization will disappear someday. Accordingly, it is high time for us to pay close attention to our Chinese festivals. 為什么年輕人這么喜愛西方節日呢？大抵是因為他們喜愛新鮮事物,抗拒不了誘惑.在他們看來,西方節日代表著時尚,而中國傳統節日則太土了.這也難怪我們也覺得我們的傳統節日太過無聊了.如果我們對傳統節日漠然置之,那么某天我們的文化文明終會消失.因此,我們該多多關注我們中國自己的節日了.

　　As a Chinese, we have the obligation to protect our culture and custom. So I think we should celebrate our Chinese festivals by doing some traditional activities. As for western festivals, we needn’t to be too excited about them. We can just send our best wishes to our best friends during those festivals.

　　作為一名中國人,我們有責任保護自己的文化習俗.所以我認為應當在慶祝中國傳統節日時候舉辦一些傳統活動.而對于西方節日,我們不需要太過激動.在這些節日里我們應該只需簡單的送上祝福就好.
