　　Our classroom building is in the north of our school. It has seven floors. There are four classrooms on every floor. On the first floor there is a gym. On the third floor there are two computer rooms for students. The science labs are on the second，fourth and fifth floor. The language lab is on the sixth floor. We often have English classes in the language lab. On the seventh floor there is a library, a reading room. A computer room for the teachers is also on the seventh floor.

　　When we want to look for information we can go to the computer room at noon. When we want to borrow books, the library is open every afternoon. The reading room is open from Monday to Friday the whole day.

　　到了高中階段，不少學生對英語科的學習產生畏懼心理，有不少甚至會想到放棄，這其中有學生的因素，也有教師的因素。英語教學的現實情況是，很多英語教師為了讓學生考出好的分數，只是拼命地要學生背單詞、語法、句型、課文，擠壓式教學占據主導地位，導致學生產生厭學情緒。長此以往，學生應付考試還可以，實際運用能力就完全不行。有不少學生感覺自己一直都在勤奮學習，但始終摸不到學好英語的門路，提不起學習英語的興趣。因此，如何調動學生學習英語的興趣和積極性這個難題就擺在了我們面前。在多年的教育教學實踐中，我總結了幾條經驗，供大家討論。

　　一、變“一言堂”為“群言堂”，讓師生關系更融洽

　　課堂是學生學習的主陣地，這是我們廣大教育工作者的共識，我們廣大教師都明白這樣一個簡單的道理：學生只有“親其師”才能“信其道”。因此，在教學過程中，尤其是課堂上，一定要重視和學生處理好關系。我在自己的課堂一般會采用這樣的方式與學生進行交流：第一堂課，我從來不進行知識的講解，而是和學生談話，與他們拉近距離。比如，讓他們進行自我展示，進行自我介紹，談談對學習的認識，對英語學科的認識，談談自己的人生理想和奮斗目標等。這樣，一堂課就在輕松愉快的氣氛中很快地度過，學生對下一節課一定充滿期待，還愁學生不喜歡英語課，不喜歡英語教師？在輕松把學生引上路之后，我更加重視學生的人格。高中生的生理和心理已經基本成熟，你對他們好，他們非常清楚。在我的課堂上，我尊重、關心每一個學生，尤其是對待后進生，我從來就不歧視，而是給他們更多的機會，簡單的問題讓他們回答，給他們樹立自信。這樣堅持下來，班級后進生對英語學科的學習也充滿興趣和信心，何愁學習成績不提高？高中生都清楚自己的目標，所以尖子生的.工作并不難，你要做好的就是疏導他們的思想，理順了他們的思想，他們的干勁比誰都足。當然，做思想工作我也不是只說教，而是和他們從拉家常入手，因為我的兒子在高中進步很大，我就經常拿我兒子說事，把他作為榜樣讓學生明白自我調節的重要性、自我努力的必要性。這樣，尖子生的學習勁頭也足了。“抓兩頭，促中間”，“抓一點，帶一片”，學生的整體成績還愁上不去？

　　二、尊重學生個性，轉變教學理念，真正因材施教

　　興趣是最好的老師。學生學習英語的態度和方式決定了學生英語成績的高低，對教師來說最好的辦法就是培養學生的興趣，樹立學生學習英語的信心。要培養興趣樹立信心，首要的就是消除學生的心理障礙，認真分析每個學生的個性，采用合適的方法來教學。在剛接手一個新班級很短的時間內，我一定會通過問卷調查、個人介紹、個別談話等方式了解學生對英語學習的看法和認識，全面了解他們在初中階段基礎打得怎么樣，然后根據學生的個體差異，正確處理好影響每個學生的心理因素。對英語成績好的學生多多引導，對英語成績不好的則要多多鼓勵，讓每個學生都對學英語充滿自信和興趣。我的做法就是經常和學生聊天，拉家常，及時了解他們的思想動向，然后有的放矢地采取相應的措施。對不同水平的學生，提出不同要求，發放不同習題。分散難點，降低難度，因材施教。

　　三、融合生活和學習，調動學生積極性

　　課堂的主人是學生，課堂的主體是操練實踐，只有進行大量的操練，才能進一步讓學生掌握知識。每當講到與生活息息相關的文章時，我都會把生活與教學有機地結合在一塊。比如，一些飲食方面的詞匯，我讓學生畫出我們常見的事物，學生非常興奮地去畫，然后請學生用單詞把這些食物介紹給外國的游客，學生試著用英語去表達，我們用小組合作的方式進行，讓學生扮演不同的角色進行討論，試著進行不同的角色扮演，你說給我聽，我說給你聽，盡可能地讓學生在不同角色中得到充分的鍛煉，學生操作興趣濃，既可以訓練學生的口語交際能力，又可以鞏固單詞、句型，提升學生的練習興趣和實際應用能力。我還曾經要求學生自己準備食物和水果，讓學生對食物和水果用英語進行設計、包裝、介紹，并模擬市場銷售，在課堂上出售，學生認真地選取自己認為滿意的食物或水果，運用自己所學的知識認真包裝、介紹，整堂課氣氛熱烈，學生上起來勁頭十足，上完課了還意猶未盡。

　　四、用多種導課手段，注重吸引學生注意力

　　為了能更好地激發學生的興趣，讓學生對每節英語課都充滿期待，我還注重精心設計每節課的導課方式，有以下方式經常使用：

　　1.利用圖片、卡片和插圖

　　充分利用每篇課文的插圖和與課文有關的具體實物等，開展聽說活動，從而引出課文的主題。

　　2.學生演講

　　每節課前由一名學生進行課前演講，主要是鍛煉口頭表達能力和應變能力。

　　我們要努力改變英語課堂教學活動中普遍存在著講得多、練得少的問題，試圖以教代學，最后達不到預期的教學效果。因此在英語課堂教學過程中，我們要結合學生的具體情況，根據學生的興趣、愛好、好奇心等情況，采取靈活多樣的教學方式，啟發學生的思維，充分調動學生學習的積極性，在愉快、輕松的環境中使學生掌握相關的英語知識，并且可以在實際生活中得以運用，真正把課堂還給每一個學生。
