　　Career or Family: which is more important?

　　When asked about their opinion of career and family, people always respond differently. Some people deem it more important to pursue their career, while there are always other people who argue that family should be the number one in one’s life.

　　It goes without any question that career plays a key role in our life. In the very first place, career can give us an aim to live on. Without career, much of our living time will be certainly wasted. What’s more, career can provide us with a means to live on. Most of the people earn their income from a job. On the other hand, family is also an indispensable part of life, as many people will admit. Family is always regarded as a place where we can escape from troubles in life. In addition, we can obtain a sense of belonging to from family. Without it, anyone will feel lonely and desperate.

　　In my opinion, career and family are not in opposition to each other. Rather, they can enhance each other so that one’s life can become better and better. Therefore, it’s not a choice between right and wrong, but one between ideal and practical.

　　媽媽是個文盲，認識的字不多，她只讀到小學三年級，但她好學。即使讀得書不多，也還是可以講普通話，她也很喜歡看書，不懂的字不是去問我，就是去問字典。

　　就在這幾天，為了給上初中打基礎，我在背26個字母。媽媽看著26個字母，也輕輕地讀起來。我就問道：“媽，你也會讀呀？”媽媽看著字母說：“我不會，你可以教我呀！”媽媽的話把我震住了。“媽媽，你學這干嘛？”媽媽很洋氣地說：“我不想被社會淘汰，我要開始學英語！”媽媽好像是抱著決心的。她朝表哥說：“阿憲，從今天起，你來教我英語，如果你肯教我，我今天就煮好東西慰勞你。”

　　那26個字母像一座沉重的`大山壓在媽媽那兒。要知道，她對此真是一竅不通。不是“V”和“U”搞錯，就是把“I”和“L”混淆，媽媽被這些字母搞得頭暈眼花。如果媽媽不是用好東西誘惑表哥，我想表哥早就不想教她了。媽媽有時還會向我求教。我讓她讀給我聽，她讀道：“啊（A）筆（B）死（C）地（D）……”我一個一個地耐心糾正，媽媽一個一個耐心地學。

　　功夫不負有心人，媽媽終于把那些字母全部認識了，雖然還是發音不準，但已經很不錯啦。再過幾天媽媽就要叫表哥正式教英語單詞和日常會話了。

　　媽媽就是那么好學，她的性格也很倔強，別人越是認為她不會，她越是要硬著頭皮學會。這就是我的媽媽，黃蔚佳的媽媽。

　　Though the kids are very small and they even can’t talk, they are smart actually. They know how to judge whether what they do is acceptable or not. For example, when mother cooks food for the baby and the baby refuses to eat. After trying to feed the baby many times, finally the mother gets angry and walks away, then the baby will perceive the mother’s unhappy emotion and realizes his wrong behavior.

　　People always say that kids are knowing nothing, so their wrong behaviors can be forgiven all the time. It seems that being innocent can be out of taking responsibility. This is ridiculous. Everyone should be responsible for what they do. If the kids are wrong, the parents need to educate them immediate, so as to help them to be a better person.

　　At 8:00 I got up and went bus station with my mother .O my god there were so many people! With difficult we got on the bus and felt very crowed. The traffic was so bad too! It cost nearly 1 hour that we arrived the center of street. What were worse there were even more people! In my opinion it was not very interesting to come out at this day!
