　　去年暑假，我上了一個英語補習班。一開始，一切都很好。可是到總結考試的時候，意外發生了。

　　因為，我平時考試的成績很好，所以，我理所當然地想：這次也一定與平時一樣。當時試卷發下來的時候，我一看題目立刻就驚呆了—這張試卷竟是如此容易！于是，我“刷刷”地寫了起來。寫完之后，就不加思索地將試卷交了上去，在眾人驚訝的目光中走出了教室。

　　第二天，試卷下來了。我看到周圍的人臉上露著喜悅的光芒。原來，他們懂得了高分。我想：既然他們都得了高分，那么，我也一定能得高分。可是當時卷發到手時，我傻眼了—我實際的`分數和我想象中的分數截然不同，我考了一個前所未有的“好”成績——實際的分數和我想象的分數截然不同，竟然是86分。看著這個鮮紅的86分，我仿佛經歷了一場“暴風雨”——父親那張鐵青的臉耷拉著、媽媽那喋喋不休的嘴唇不停地蠕動著。我仿佛還看到了試卷上那鮮紅的分數在嘲笑我——笑我不認真、笑我急于求成。我哭了，哭得很傷心……

　　放學后，老師找到我，把錯誤的地方給我耐心地講一遍，并語重心長地說：“莎莎，其實你有能力考100分，可惜太驕傲……”

　　老師的一席話使我茅塞頓開，明白了一個道理：虛心使人進步，驕傲使人落后。
