　　This summer holiday, I learnt to ride a bike. Because when I am going to the middle school, I must go to school by bike. My father bought a new bike for me. In the weekends, he taught me how to ride it. At first, I was nervous. I always felt that I would fall down from my bike.

　　My father encouraged me to be brave. And he would help me and protect me. Then I was not so worried. I could ride it slowly. After two weekends, I learnt it. I could ride it by myself. I was so excited. My father was proud of me, too.

　　英語，你是愛還是怕？我相信很多人會說怕。其實我也很怕，但參加了今天的活動，讓我克服了對英語的畏懼。

　　星期六上午，我們小記者來到英漢雙語學校參觀。剛到學校，老師就給我們每人發了一本《老鼠男孩》。翻開第一頁，密密麻麻的.都是英語，真讓人頭疼，還好后面有中文翻譯。

　　老師把我們帶到一間教室，大屏幕上正放著一個五六歲的孩子流利地讀英語課文的視頻，真厲害。

　　這時，校長走了進來，他就是這所學校的創辦者——陳雷。一直聽過陳雷英語很有名，這次可得好好學學。陳校長用幽默風趣的語言告訴我們學英語的重要性，并教給我們學英語的方法——學英語最大的敵人是“忘”，所以我們應該通過說、做并舉的方式將“忘”降低到最小化。在陳校長的帶領下，我們用了幾分鐘的時間就將一首英語詩歌銘記在心，厲害吧！

　　這次活動讓我十分難忘，不僅讓我不再懼怕英語，也讓我學到了一個好的學習方法，讓我的成績更加進步。

　　英語課到了，鄧老師說：“這次考試沒有一個同學考到一百分，和我理想的差距非常大，其中有一些題完全是因為審題不仔細導致的錯誤。”

　　老師請幾個同學把試卷發了下來。我連忙查看我考了多少分：“86”。哎呀！竟然連90分都沒有達到呀！我又急忙查看錯在哪里。原來有一題說明“可多選”，我沒有注意做成單選，一下子被扣了6分。還有一項判斷題，我想判斷題肯定只有一個正確答案，所以找到一個打了一個勾，就不看其它選項了，卻萬萬沒想到不止一個正確答案。

　　回到家，我把分數告訴了媽媽。媽媽并沒有怎樣責怪我，幫我分析了錯誤原因后，平靜地對我說：“看來英語方面還要再加把勁，學習要靈活呀！下次爭取考到95分以上啊。如果還有距離，就要在家里增加英語的作業量啦。”我心里默默地想：媽媽，你放心吧，下次我一定交一份100分的`卷子給你看。
