　　這個暑假,我連續幾個周末看了cctv10的希望英語風采大賽，通過這幾場英語比賽，讓我對當今的中學生學習英語的興趣及能力，贊不絕口。

　　尤其是在半決賽中看圖說話這一環節。這個環節最能表現選手的.英語運用綜合能力。印象最深的要數一名四年級的小學生，一口標準的發音，流利地表達，令在場的觀眾，選手，評委無不為他投去贊許的目光。要知道，“冰凍三尺非一日之寒”，每個人都有自己的學習方法，如英語專家許國璋先生認為：

　　學英語就要做到，眼尖，耳明，嘴勤，手快。只要多讀，多記，多講，多寫，自有水到渠成之日。學幾句干巴巴的英文是不行的....不要總是把閱讀的目的放在提高英文上，閱讀首先是吸收知識，吸收知識的過程中自然而然就吸收了語言。

　　英語專家胡壯麟認為學好英語，既要珍惜課堂教學和老師指導的學習機會，也要抓住"習得"英語的機會，后者指學會自己主動聽廣播聽錄音，看電視看錄像，讀書報讀小說。大膽張口，有時不免背誦，以至自說自話。

　　In my opinion, I stand on the side of neither idea. First of all, either method has its disadvantages. Furthermore, each student has his or her preference.
